I was saddened when I learned that Tim Russert died from a heart attack today. It had always been a dream of mine that Tim Russert would ask me the tough questions on “Meet the Press.” Being on that show would have been the pinnacle of my campaign. It still would be the pinnacle of my campaign but it will mean a little bit less with somebody besides Russert asking the questions.
May God comfort the Russert family during this time.
