NOTE: This is a first of a series of entries from the “Meeting of Independent Presidential Candidates” that took place in the Caribbean from November 14-20.  To see the entire series (once completed), click on the “Meeting of Independent Presidential Presidents” tag and the entire list should pop up.

Something told me I shouldn’t travel on Friday the 13th, but I traveled anyway.  Although the meeting does not start until tomorrow, I have already met a couple of candidates.

LaTisha Jackson is from Illinois.  Her plan is to make public transportation mandatory and free.  I was originally against both, but after listening to her, I am still against both parts of the plan.  I promised her that when I got back I would crunch the numbers and see if her plan of creating revenue through increased ad rates and money saved by not spending millions of dollars to collect fares would be enough to offset operating costs.

The other candidate I met was Travis Zuck from Toledo, OH.  He has a different take on the Cinemafia.  He believes that no movie should be more than an hour in length.   I told Travis that movie lengths would no longer be a problem once we rid the movie industry of the Cinemafia and Canadians.  We agreed to formally debate it on “Debate Day” on Thursday the 19th.
