My Health Care Plan
The more I hear about the Affordable Health Care Plan, the more unaffordable it is becoming. It seems to be the old switcheroo with health care becoming affordable by making health insurance more expensive.
I have written extensively on health care in the past. I was mocked by many by my mandating “An Apple a Day” for every American. Before you resume mocking me, let me point out that a whole year of mandated apples costs less than one month of mandated ObamaCare insurance.
The biggest difference between my plan and other plans is that the other plans only take effect once you fall ill. My plan makes sure you don’t get ill and that you have more time for productive things like work and playing Words with Friends on Facebook.
I will be answering questions that you have about my health care policies Saturday Night at 11:00PM EDT on Blogtalk Radio. Other topics include my new campaign strategies and highlights from my campaign stop in Rehoboth Beach, DE. I’ll look forward to hearing from you.
The Smoke is Clearing
I am still technically on hiatus. The good news is that there is now a day when I will be returning in full campaign mode. The blog will return to its former glory. The radio show will also be returning as well as my video podcast.
The date for the blog to return and the radio show will both be October 7. I look forward to hitting the campaign trail again.
The Light at the End of the Tunnel
I still have to mud through some mud, but I will be in full campaign mode by mid-May. You will know I am back in stride when the following happen:
- I’m back to blogging every day and not on days that end with “day.”
- My podcast will be back on a weekly basis.
- I will be interviewed by either Rachel Maddow or that guy with a nervous twitch.
There are some things I have to finalize before I can move. It did not help that I had the bubonic plague a severe lung infection or the last two weeks. Another recent development is that the move to Maryland is now the move to Delaware.
I will try my darndest in the meantime to chime in when relevant news happens and when I have a free moment. My return is inevitable. My return is soon.
Back to the Airwaves
Join me on Tuesday, December 4 aat 11:00PM Eastern / 8PM Pacific (10AM December 5 in Calcutta) as I return to BlogTalk Radio with a LIVE show! I will be talking about the failures of my 2008 and 2012 presidential campaigns and discuss what needs to be done differently if I am to win in 2016.
I will post the number to call the day of the show. The number is dedicated specifically to the show and you won’t be able to reach the campaign by calling that number. You can reach the campaign (but not the show) by calling 1-507-AHMNODT.

2011 – The Debacle (July – September)
The Cinemafia was in full force in July. Not only did they hack my computer again, but they jammed my podcasts and sent me hate mail. There wasn’t a good movie in July either.
August was more productive, but not productive enough to take the suck out of 2011. I finally found a running mate that isn’t under 35, a convict, or Canadian. I also became the first presidential candidate to present an earthquake prevention plan. I also live-blogged one of the debates among the Republicans.
September was a bad month. I had quit campaigning, only to resume when I saw America getting worse with none of the candidates offering any good ideas. I did get an enthusiastic demographic when I resumed my campaign. Another month, another debate I wasn’t invited to.
Four-Year Cycles
A little over four years ago, I decided to run for President in the 2008 campaign. I headed up to New Hampshire to campaign mainly because the primary was already over and I didn’t have to worry about any of the other candidates stealing my thunder. I was alone in my hotel room on Valentine’s Day 2008 after a long day of campaigning. After watching the local news, I realized that my campaign wasn’t making any traction. I pulled out my laptop and decided to blog about my campaign. “Alone in New Hampshire” was my first entry, four years ago today. It was a very short entry, mostly with a rough video I had made and uploaded to YouTube.
The first month was rough. There were days when nobody visited my website. I kept blogging anyway, thinking that someday I would write something that people would be looking for. My first break came when I had to cancel a portion of my campaign trip because my sea monkey passed away. Apparently, I am not the only person who had to deal with the sudden loss of a pet. I was suddenly getting 10-20 hits a day.
My next break came soon after the 2008 election. Many people were disappointed with the results and wanted to see who the prospective candidates were going to be for 2012. I had announced my intention to run in 2012 the day after the 2008 election. I wasn’t about to spend any money on my campaign like I did in 2008. (The $.60 I spent on copying posters proved to be futile.) People looked for 2012 candidates on search engines and my blog was one of the first to pop up on many sites.
My biggest break came from Billy Mays. He brought an additional 20 hits to my blog every day until his death. In the days following his death, when people were searching Billy Mays material on the web, the average shot up to over 500 hits per day.
These numbers might not be impressive to many people (and they’re not to me), but I have learned that a large portion of that is because this is a politics blog and people don’t really like politics and will only go to a political blog when they want information (usually after people find out they’ve been screwed yet again.)
What I have learned is to expand my base. In addition to this blog, I have a YouTube channel, a BlogTalk Radio show, a Ustream show, A Facebook and Twitter profile and also a fan page on Facebook. Though I have expanded by leaps and bounds, this blog continues to be the backbone of my campaign and will continue to be until next January when I begin blogging from whitehouse.gov.
