Mother’s Day

Today is Mother’s Day.  I will soon be taking my mother out for breakfast.  I used to take her out to lunch, but the Nationals are playing the Marlins today and my father and I will be going to the game.

My mother tried to keep me away from politics; and for the longest time, she was successful.  There were few politicians I like, and by the time I got to vote for them in the general election, those candidates were no longer on the ballot.  Alan Keyes is one such candidate.  He makes me think when he gives speeches and he has charisma.

There are times when I felt I should have listened to my mother, like in 2008.  I was disappointed that I did not receive any electoral votes.  It was further saddening that my own mother voted for somebody else.  (She voted for Barack Obama.)

My mother has since had a change of heart and has told me she will vote for me in 2012.  my mother and I don’t agree on everything politically.  She thinks my stance on abortion is too harsh.  My mother will also go to a movie once in a while, ofter dragging my father with her.

I am thankful that I have my mother’s support for the 2012 election.  Hopefully, she will continue her streak for voting for the winning candidate.  She said she will try to be on my radio show tonight and say “Hello” to the listeners.

I love you, Mom!

Pardoning the Turkey

President Bush partook in a time-honored tradition of pardoning a turkey.  I would like to pardon a turkey, also.  The turkey I have decided to pardon this year is Alan Keyes.  While Alan Keyes and I have several philosophical difference (especially with the stickler over who should be president), he has a small, but loyal following.  Both supporters are already working on Keyes’s 2012 campaign.

Ahmnodt Running in 2012

I have decided to run for President of the United States in 2012.  I have learned from my mistakes in the 2008 campaign and I have already started to fix the problems.  I hereby challenge President-elect Obama and whomever the Republicans can muster to a debate.  I would also like to invite Ralph Nader, Alan Keyes, and Buckles the Clown to the debate.  I am not inviting Buckles because he is a great debater, but because I have never lost a debate to him.

Another difference between 2008 and 2012 is that I will hold a contest for the vice-president position.  Due to Constitutional requirements, Canadians are not eligible at this time.

I would like to thank the seven people who voted for me.  This campaign will do much better in 2012!

Preserving the Status Quo

North Carolina had early voting today. I am registered to vote as a Republican so I can vote in the primary. I was set to write my name in, but they now have new voting machines. I asked the poll lady how to do a write-in, and she said, there is no “write-in”, only a “none-of-the-above” option.

I can hear it now. Mitt Romney will claim those “none of the above” votes were for him.

With write-ins no longer being allowed, (whatever happened to freedom of speech? HELLO!!!) we are stuck with the posers on the ballot.  I will not give up.  I will do whatever it takes to make sure write-ins are included and Americans have the write to free speech!
