Not Just Yet
I was hoping that everything would have gone well with the move, but it hasn’t. I will definitely be moving on Wednesday. It is going to take me a few days once I get there to set up a strategic campaign plan which will utilize my resources (or lack thereof) wisely.
My first video greeting will be posted by Sunday. The radio show will be either on Monday nights or Tuesday afternoons. Regular blgging will resume as soon as I get my internet set up in Delaware. (Or sooner if I live near someone with unsecured Wi-Fi.)
The Smoke is Clearing
I am still technically on hiatus. The good news is that there is now a day when I will be returning in full campaign mode. The blog will return to its former glory. The radio show will also be returning as well as my video podcast.
The date for the blog to return and the radio show will both be October 7. I look forward to hitting the campaign trail again.
The Light at the End of the Tunnel
I still have to mud through some mud, but I will be in full campaign mode by mid-May. You will know I am back in stride when the following happen:
- I’m back to blogging every day and not on days that end with “day.”
- My podcast will be back on a weekly basis.
- I will be interviewed by either Rachel Maddow or that guy with a nervous twitch.
There are some things I have to finalize before I can move. It did not help that I had the bubonic plague a severe lung infection or the last two weeks. Another recent development is that the move to Maryland is now the move to Delaware.
I will try my darndest in the meantime to chime in when relevant news happens and when I have a free moment. My return is inevitable. My return is soon.

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
4,329 films were submitted to the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. This blog had 20,000 views in 2012. If each view were a film, this blog would power 5 Film Festivals

Here’s an excerpt:
The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 23,000 times in 2011. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 9 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
Limbo Week
This whole week has been weird. It turns out my “eviction notice” wasn’t an eviction notice, but a notice to vacate the premises so the landlord can do some much needed work to the heating system and bathroom plumbing. He would have reimbursed me for staying at a hotel. The only problem is that I have since signed a lease with a condo nearby. I am not currently under a lease where I am.
I am renting two condos, neither of which are fully habitable, but between the two of them, I have everything I need (except a free outlet for the inflatable doll.) The place I have been living in has TV, internet, furniture, (until the friends who promised to help me move the furniture last week move the furniture.) The new place has gas for cooking, running water, and food. Below is how today went for me (Bold for current condo, regular for condo which I will move into this weekend)
6:00AM – Wake up and walk the dog. Showered and made bacon and eggs for breakfast.
7:00AM – Watched the “Today Show”. The diuretics I took in 2008 finally kicked in.
8:00 – Downloaded files I needed for work and took my laptop to the new place.
9:00 – Diuretics kicked in again. So did laxatives. Needed toilet paper. Returned working.
12:00PM – Took my campaign manager out to lunch for his birthday. We wend Dutch on the meal, but I gave him my Burger King crown.
1:00 – Returned working. Needed to print out a project at 2:30.
5:00 – Finished working and cooked dinner.
7:30 – Watched “Wheel of Fortune” Microwaved popcorn and watched a movie. Diuretics. Changed pants and underpants.
10:00 – Blogged this entry and went to bed. Hoping I don’t have to wake up at 2:00AM.
