Ahmnodt Heare for President

Ahmnodt Heare For America… Ahmnodt Heare For You.

A Campaign Day in Haiku

6:00AM

I got out of bed

And did my business so that

The dog could do his.

7:00AM

Eggs on a hard roll

Coffee and a Budweiser

Breakfast for a champ.

8:00AM

Watched the morning news

Wondering what’s happening

I still do not know.

9:00AM

Headed into town

To hand out literature

Of campaign issues

10:00AM

Literature snatched

Because cops hate my permit

The First Amendment

11:00AM

Talked to movie fans

And told them all about the

Cinemafia.

12:00PM

Went to the diner

And discussed my health care plan

“An Apple A Day.”

1:00PM

Went to hardware store

Rebuilding America

One nail at a time.

2:00PM

The Supermarket

Prices are so expensive

Shoplifting’s still free.

3:00PM

Walked the dog again

He did his business outside

Not on the carpet.

4:00PM

On-air interview

Canceled at the last minute.

One less thing to do.

5:00PM

Went to grab a beer

The bottles were all empty

From hearty breakfast.

6:00PM

“Family Guy”‘s on

I can’t watch them Sunday nights

Sunday Night Football.

7:00PM

Time to make dinner

Still have turkey leftover

From Thanksgiving night.

8:00PM

Talking to masses

Can be very difficult

With glitches abound.

9:00PM

Fixing the glitches

But the masses had all left

Will try again soon.

10:00PM

Enough of this day

Tomorrow will be better

Now I’m off to bed.

Winner gets a smile.  🙂

The haiku must have

good things about my campaign

And why vote for me.

———————————–

I’ll include haikus

When I write my haiku post

Explaining my views.

Enter many times

The more haikus the better

Void where prohibited.

Inspiration from my Running Mate

If you are into poetry, you will love reading the poetry of my running mate, Pamela Villars.  For those of you who weren’t around in 2008, finding a running mate proved to be difficult.  I ended up having to run for President AND Vice-President.  Below were some of the problems I had with running mate candidates in 2008:

  • Under the age of 35
  • Not a U.S. citizen
  • Felonies
  • deceased
  • Celine Dion fans

I am pleased to say that Pamela Villars is none of the first four above.  I don’t know if she is a Celine Dion fan or not, but at this point, I almost don’t care.  It is easier to find a snowball in the Bahamas than a Vice-Presidential candidate.

Pamela’s writings are inspirational.  Her writings have inspired me to write some haiku.

On November Sixth

Two Thousand Twelve – Ahmnodt

Heare for President

If you are looking for inspiration, check out her website and read her poetry.  You can be assured that her writings are better than mine.  Here is a picture of her showing what she won for coming in second in an Australian Wordle contest:
