Ahmnodt Heare for President

Ahmnodt Heare For America… Ahmnodt Heare For You.

Foot in the Door

It took me a long time, but I finally got my name mentioned on TV.  Not just my name, but a quote I said.  It was read aloud AND it was shown on the screen with “AHMNODTHEARE” in caps.  Below is the tweet I sent:

The Question asked was: “Why are people so reluctant to prepare for an emergency before it happens?”

It was on MSNBC on Contessa Brewer’s show.  She read her question at the beginning of her show (Noon Mondays – Fridays) and reads the best replies at the end of her show.  The only bad part is that the Twitter readings aren’t posted on the web like other parts of the shows so I will be unable to post the video.

I should add that Drew Pelto doesn’t hate grasshoppers.  He was just reciting St. Urho’s chant: “Heinäsirkka, heinäsirkka, mene täältä hiiteen!” (“Grasshopper, grasshopper, go from hence to Hell!”),

It looks like the key to prolonged media exposure will be to go the “Baba Booey” route.  This is done by calling in to talk shows and greeting the show you are calling with “Ahmnodt Heare.”  This also works at work meetings when the manager asks if there are any questions.

I have a feeling that “Ahmnodt Heare” will be a household name by the Summer.  It is already a phrase used when someone calls a bar looking for their spouse.

The Googling of Ahmnodt Heare

You may remember the ad that Google ran during the Super Bowl on how to use their website… (Or you may not).  Soon after that ad, there was a parody of that ad with people using Google to find out about Sarah Palin.  Here are some better ads of real commercials of searching for a presidential candidate:

These ads will be ran on MSNBC during the summer if people start watching the network.

Northeast Blizzard

There are two reasons why I haven’t been online the last two days:  Shoveling and Blackout  (The blackout lasted for 22 hours, but I spent most of that time sleeping or shoveling.).  It tends to be difficult to keep up with shoveling when it is snowing an inch an hour.  It is harder when you are without the benefits of a snow blower or a plow.

I had spent all morning and afternoon shoveling.  It was getting dark and the one inch per hour turned into 2 inches per hour.  Catching up became futile so I decided I was shoveling for the day.  I went inside and watched some of the gold medal women’s hockey game between the United States and Canada.  Team Canada won 2-0 and I became distraught.

MSNBC announced that after the medals were given out, that they were going to play the Canadian National Anthem.  Not on my TV they weren’t.  I turned the TV off and headed outside to throw snowball at objects so I could vent.   One of the objects I hit was the top of the telephone pole where the electrical wire is connected from the pole to the house.  The electric wire came down and the town became dark.  Fortunately, I was able to scurry back in the house before anybody could see what happened.  (Not that they could see as it was dark and no lights were around.)

I had spent a good portion of yesterday shoveling the snow that had fallen Thursday night and Friday morning.  There was a foot and a half on the ground in addition to the foot of snow I had shoveled on Thursday.  I was soon running out of places to put snow as the snow banks from shoveling were soon over my head.  I thought I was just about done when the town snow plow came and cleared the road, leaving a three-foot bank blocking my driveway.  The bank was not only high, it was also three feet across. It was also dense, icy, and heavy.  it took me FOREVER to get rid of that snowbank!

I will be spending time brainstorming ideas on how better to remove snow.  The way towns do it now is a bad idea, and I will bring that up at the next town meeting.  If the streets are public property, then so is the snow that falls on it.  I do not want public snow on my private property!  I will think of a better way.  This is why I am running for President.  I am always thinking of better ways to run this great country of ours.

Write to the Media!

Nothing gives a campaign a boost more than media coverage.  Sarah Palin quit her job as governor but continues to get coverage because the media wants her to be president.  If Keith Olbermann didn’t want her to be president, then he wouldn’t talk about her all of the time.

Write a letter to the media and tell them you do not want Sarah Palin or Barack Obama as your president in 2012.  Tell them you want Ahmnodt Heare for President.

My Message is Getting Through

Making entertainment affordable has been the cornerstone of my campaign since I first announced I was running for President last February.  I have matured as a candidate to the point that I have addressed virtually every issue.  (I have yet to take a position on capital punishment.)

I was watching MSNBC when the people (I wish I remembered their names) were talking about the high price of going to a movie.  One of the panelists was talking about the high price of actors for movies.  Another talked about the high price of promoting a movie.  It’s a lot like watching this movie I made in 2007 about movie prices.

The panelists agreed that the way to cut the cost of going to a movie is to get affordable actors and to spend less on advertising the movie.

This Could Get Me In Trouble

A MESSAGE FOR MY SUPPORTERS

I would like to start by saying “Thank you” for everybody who have supported the 2008 and the 2012 campaigns.  I appreciate the effort and the sacrifice you have given.  I have one favor to ask.  Please do not break any laws while showing support.

A supporter was arrested for vandalism after tagging this billboard in Akron, OH.

Please don’t write on somebody else’s property.  This includes unused billboards.  If you can’t resist writing on somebody else’s property, then at least take the time to spell correctly.

Bad spelling doesn’t just make me look bad, it makes you and all the supporters look bad.    I will never get that coveted interview with Norah O’Donnell if incidents like this keep happening.  I might end up making Keith Olbermann’s “Worst Persons in the World” segment.  It would kill my campaign if I was a worse person than “Bill-O the Clown.”

I just want to restate the thanks for all of my supporters and to keep up the good work.  We will overcome this incident and win in 2012!
