Peanut Butter and Jelly Casserole
This is a recipe that Grandma Oudda created when she found out I didn’t like bread. (Not liking bread was a phase I went to as a child. I like bread now as an adult.)
1 lb. elbow macaroni
1 jar peanut butter
2 cups heavy cream
i jar grape jelly
Cook macaroni al dente according to package directions. Drain and place in a mixing bowl. Cover and let sit in the refrigerator for one hour. Mix the peanut butter with one cup of cream. Blend thoroughly. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. In a non-stick casserole pan, spread a layer of macaroni on the bottom of the pan. Add a layer of jelly. Add a layer of peanut butter. Repeat the layering of the macaroni, jelly, and peanut butter until you are out of all three. Cook for 30 minutes. Serves six to eight people or one presidential candidate.
Tea Parties on April 15
There will be tea parties all across the country on April 15. A tea party is a rally against higher taxes and increased spending. I will be attending a tea party, but where I do not know. I hope to bring some of Grandma Oudda’s crumpets. They go down so smoothly, especially with some Earl Grey tea. She hasn’t shared that recipe with me yet, but if she does, I promise to share it with you. Click here to see all of her recipes.
UPDATE: Be sure to listen to the Tea Party Radio Show on April 15 from 10:00PM-11:30PM Eastern.
Limburger Cheesecake
This is another one of Grandma Oudda’s award winning recipes. Although it is not as popular as her Strawberry Stroganoff recipe, it does have a strong cult following. It is sometimes used in ceremonies involving people joining a prestigious group like the Bloods, the Cripps, or the Detroit Lions. Please enjoy!
1 Env Gelatin
1/2 c Mini-Chocolate Chips
1/4 c Milk cold
1 Graham Cracker Pie Crust, 9 Inch
1 c Milk boiling
2 8-Oz Pkgs Limburger Cheese
1 c Cookie Crumbs
1/2 c Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
In blender, sprinkle gelatin over cold milk; let stand 2 min. Add hot milk and process at low until dissolved, about 2 min. Add limburger cheese, sugar and vanilla and process until blended. Arrange chocolate in bottom of crust. Pour in gelatin mixture; sprinkle with crushed cookies.
Chill until firm, about 2 hrs.
Serves 8-12 (Unless it’s made for me, then it serves only one)
Breakfast Pot Pie
I think it is about time there is a pot pie for breakfast. It is too early for turkey or chicken, but the right time for breakfast sausage.
Ingredients:
1 pie crust
8 – 10 strips of cooked bacon
6 eggs
2 cups sausage gravy
In a 9″ x 2″ round pie plate, place the bottom layer of pie crust. Add a layer of sausage gravy. In a seperate frying pan, scramble the six eggs and cook until slightly loose. Place eggs in the pie plate. Layer the bacon on top of the eggs. Pour the rest of the sausage gravy on the sausage. Place the top pie crust layer on top.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes until crust is brown. Allow five minutes for cooling. Serves 6-8.

Sausage Parfait
Unlike the Strawberry Stroganoff recipe I posted recently, this recipe is something I conjured up one day. The secret to my sausage parfait is the sausage. I use breakfast sausage links and I marinate them in maple syrup prior to cooking.
2 cups cooked sausage links – shredded
4 cups milk, divided use
2/3 cup granulated sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 cup blueberries
1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
1. Place frozen links in shallow baking pan. Bake at 325oF for 18 to 20 minutes or until meat is no longer pink inside. Place cooked sausage in blender and set to puree for 2 minutes.
2. Combine shredded sausage, 3 1/2 cups milk, sugar and salt in 2-quart saucepan.
3. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until thick and creamy, 15 to 20 minutes.
4. Beat eggs and remaining 1/2 cup milk together. Stir into sausage mixture. Cook 2 minutes longer, stirring constantly. Add maple syrup. Cool.
5. Combine blueberries and whipped topping.
6. Using 1 cup parfait glasses*, alternate sausage pudding and blueberry mixture.
Makes 6 servings.

80,000 and Counting
I am pleased to announce that over 80,000 people have visited my blog. Many people who have stopped by have been supportive of the campaign. A few have not been supportive. Those people include the Cinemafia, Betty White supremacists, hard-core Republicans and Democrats, and dentists.
Spammers have not been included in the count, or the count would be much higher. Those who read the blog telepathically have not been counted because WordPress has said they do not have an accurate way to count telepathic hits. Famous politicians who have read this blog and have used either my campaign strategy or in their platform include President Obama, Sarah Palin, John McCain, and most recently, Carl Paladino.
Unlike the past, when I had a mad rush of people looking for Grandma Oudda’s famous Strawberry Stroganoff recipe or paying tribute to Billy Mays, the people lately have been coming mainly looking for an alternative in 2012. It seems for many of these people, I have been that alternative and for that I am honored.
Thank everybody for your continued support and together we can win this thing in 2012!
