A Day of Rest

I didn’t do too much campaigning today.  I wanted to get some rest before my next campaign trip.  I leave at 6:00 AM for Louisville and take a connecting flight to Lexington.

I will be at the following locations tomorrow:
10:00 AM – First Baptist Church (1st and Main – Lexington, KY)
11:30 AM – First Baptist Church (2nd and Main – Lexington, KY)
1:30 PM – First Baptist Church (3rd and Main – Lexington, KY)
3:00 PM – First Baptist Church (4th and Main – Lexington, KY)
4:30 PM – First Baptist Church (5th and Main – Lexington, KY)

I will post the rest of my campaign schedule for the weekend when I get to the hotel tomorrow evening.

Weekend Warrior

My campaign will be hitting the road with little time for rest.  I leave here Friday morning for Eugene, Or.  I will be giving a speech at the WOW Hall Friday at 7:00.  I leave Saturday at 6AM so I can be at Churchill Downs for an animal rights speech.  Included in that speech will be animals having the right to be part of my diet and a horse’s right to race.

This is a well written article and would have gotten more readers if it wasn’t for the mainstream media’s obsession with Eliot Spitzer. He is soaking up the attention because he is media whore. The millions of people who would have normally been surfing the cable news channels finding highlights of my campaign speech instead got perpetual coverage of Eliot Spitzer.

The public missed the chance to hear highlights of the speech I gave to the Virginia Librarians’ Association entitled, “Dewey, or Don’t We.” They appreciate people who will organize government the way Dewey organized libraries.

The public is invited to attend a rally hosted by the Night Owls today at 12:00 Noon at Harry’s Bar and Grill in Hatch Mills.

Ahmnodt! at the Disco

It was a rough night. The plan was for me to go clubbing and convey my thoughts on domestic policy while dancing the night away. First, parking was a mess… The parking lot was full and I had to park three blocks away.

A Lesson from Fluffy

I was driving home from where Fluffy was laid to rest. I drove by the cemetery on the outskirts of town. I pulled over and took a stroll around. I saw a bunch of tombstones from the 1800s including one for somebody named John Clinton.

I started talking to the tombstones. For some of them it must have been a while since anyone has talked to them. I told them about Fluffy’s passing and what Fluffy meant to me. I saw the “Clinton” tombstone again and couldn’t help think about the Democrats. I remember hearing stories on how Democrats used to get votes from dead people in Chicago.
