Orgies for Abstinence III

The next “Orgies for Abstinence” will take place on Election Night across the United States.  The ideal place to hold an event is at a hotel that is hosting an election party.  Many politicians fully embrace the orgy concept to their constituents.

I will be posting more information including the abstinence literature you can hand out during your orgy.

I will be at the Marriott in Pittsburgh as it will be a stop along the way for the Walk-a-Thon for affordable entertainment awareness.

Walk-a-Thon Update and Adjustments

The Walk-a-Thon for Affordable Entertainment Awareness will begin in a little over three months.  It starts in Atlantic City on October 9 and will end in San Diego on April 4, 2011.  Most of the nights I will be sleeping in a tent with my inflatable mattress.  One noticeable exception will be on November 2.  I will be in Pittsburgh at a soon-to-be-determined hotel for “Orgies for Abstinence III.”

I am having a custom designed cart built to carry the stuff I will need.  It is like a regular shopping cart, except with tires durable enough for almost 3,000 miles of travel and the ability to push it through snow.  It will also have a shelf that pulls out so I can continue working while I am in this walk-a-thon.  (Six months without working is too long.)  A hand brake is being installed so I can stop it and not worry about the cart rolling up and down mountains.

Walk-a-Thon 2010-2011

I was unable to hold my walk-a-thon for Affordable Entertainment Awareness last year due to me breaking my ankle at Blanca Fest.  Barring anything stupid (broken bones, death, incarceration, getting lost, etc.) happens, I will try the walk-a-thon again on October 9 in Atlantic City.  I am hoping to be in San Diego by April 4, 2011.  I will be blogging the events on days I am in an area with WiFi.

I am planning to attend the November 2 “Orgies for Abstinence III” in Bentleyville, PA( Just south of Pittsburgh).  The location is not set in stone as I am planning on the possibility of making campaign appearances near the walk-a-thon route.  If you are near the route and you want me to give a speech in your area, please let me know soon so I can make adjustments to the route.

Walk-a-Thon Canceled

I am deeply saddened that I will not be able to partake in the Walk-a-Thon for Affordable Entertainment Awareness.  I had a mishap with the ankle I broke while I was on vacation.  I went to the doctor yesterday and she said that I would not be able to walk on it for two months.  I am no longer wearing the boot that people with broken ankles use for walking.  I am on crutches and will remain on crutches for two months.

The reason why I chose October to do the walk-a-thon is twofold:  The first reason is because I didn’t want to walk when it was too cold in the Northeast or too hot in the desert Southwest.  The second reason why I chose October is because all of the other walk-a-thons are in October and I didn’t want to seem rebellious and walk in another month.

Some people have suggested that I do the walk-a-thon with the crutches.  There are two problems with this.  The first problem is that it takes longer to walk on crutches and I would end up with both extremely cold weather and extremly hot weather along the way.  The other problem is that people seeing me using crutches might think I am rasing money for some kind of birth defect instead of the defect in entertainment caused by the CineMafia.

I may have to do a telethon instead.  The problem is that I can’t have celebrities as spokespeople because they all work for the CineMafia.

Adjustments to Walk-a-Thon Schedule

For those familiar with my campaign, I have been planning a walk across the United States raising awareness about the entertainment industry and how unaffordable entertainment has become.  The walk is supposed to start in October in Atlantic City and end in April in San Diego.  However; with the meeting of Independent Presidential Candidates slated from November 14 to 21, I had to make some adjutments to the route.  The adjusted map will be posted sometime within the next two weeks.

• I am still leaving from Atlantic City on Saturday October 10.
• Instead of walking all the way to San Diego directly, I will walk to Pittsburgh’s airport.  I plan on making it to the airport in time to fly out on the 14th of November.
• I will fly back to Pittsburgh on the 21st and continue my trip from there.
• I am now scheduled to arrive in San Diego on April 17, which is after Opening Day for the San Diego Padres.  I will be unable to throw out the first ball on opening day.

I am still looking for places to stop along the route.  e-mail me if you want me to speak to your group about affordable entertainment.

Plans in the Near Future

The campaign season is relatively slow.  It will probably be another year before a Republican or a Democrat announces that he or she is going to run for office.  It is important that I become a major force in the 2012 election by that time.

There are things we can do to get noticed and to build the campaign.  Like Dora the Explorer always says, “I need your help!”

I am planning the details of the Affordability Awareness Walk-a-Thon that starts Columbus Day weekend.  If you live somewhere between Atlantic City and San Diego, please let me know soon.  I am going to take Rolf‘s advice and campaign through the walk-a-thon as well.  I will not be holding “Ahmnodt Heare is an idiot” signs in German.

I am desperately trying to be interviewed on television.  If anybody knows Wolf Blitzer, David Gregory, Bill O’Reilly, or Stephen Colbert, please forward a link of this blog to them and tell them you want them to interview me.

If you know somebody who needs a speaker for a political rally, a business club meeting, or a sweet sixteen, then please let them know my schedule is pretty much empty until October and I am willing to go just about anywhere for a speech.

After my radio show tomorrow, I will resume doing radio shows on Sunday Nights starting this Sunday.  Tell all of your friends and half of your enemies to listen to the show tomorrow night at 10PM Eastern / 7PM Pacific.  I will answer any questions people have about my campaign then.

Publicity Problems

It was 8:55AM and I was just about ready to walk from Schaanwald to Vaduz.  There was no media:  No television, no radio, no newspapers, nobody from the media.  There weren’t any people except for a young man named Rolf.  He was wearing a green military jacket, a green military t-shirt, and faded and shredded blue jeans.  He had a bone to pick with me.  He was wondering why I was doing this walk-a-thon for Affordable Entertainment Awareness and not for allowing the good people of Liechtenstein tovote for the leader of the free world.

I explained to Rolf that my original intent was for what he wanted when I planned this trip.  However, a lady named Claudia from nearby Planken (in Liechtenstein, all the cities are nearby.  It is the Delaware of Europe.) had been following my blog for a while and she seemed irate about the cost of entertainment.  She did not seem overly concerned about being unable to vote for the leader of the free world.  So I decided to go with the Affordability Awareness campaign.

Rolf and I headed off to Vaduz.  He had handwritten a sign in German for me to carry.  The sign he had me carry said,

“Nur eine dumme Person Kampagne in Liechtenstein, um Präsident der Vereinigten Staaten.” 

He told me that it said, “It takes a special person to campaign in a country he doesn’t live in.”  I found out later it meant something different.

Rolf was filming the walk-a-thon on his camcorder while I was holding the sign.  He got plenty of closeups of just me and the sign.  People were honking their horns as they drove by.  It seemed like Claudia was wrong and Liechtensteiners wanted to vote for the leader of the free world. 

At about 2:00, I arrived in downtown Vaduz.  When the people in the streets of Vaduz saw the sign I was carrying, they started laughing.  I was puzzled that people in the rest of the country seemed to applaud my effort while they laughed at me here.

A supporter who spoke both German and English told me that the sign actually meant, “Only an idiot would campaign in Liechtenstein for the President of the United States.”  At first I was mad at Rolf, but I soon realized he was just misguided.  While it is true I am running for the President of the United States, I feel it is important that people in the free world should be able to vote for the leader of the free world.   It just happens that the leader of the free world is always American.
