Ahmnodt Heare for President

Hitting the Road

This Thursday I will be embarking on a five-day campaign trip that will take me through Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, and North Carolina.  Right now the only thing that is anything near planned is a small rally in Winston-Salem.  I am open to other rallies (especially on Monday morning and afternoon.)

I might give an impromptu speech in front of the very spot where I first decided to get involved in politics in 1998 when I ran for Senate,  (I was beating John Edwards and Lauch Faircloth in polls when people found out I wasn’t eligible due to age.)

This was supposed to be part of a longer trip that would have brought me into Washington DC the following weekend for my daughter’s birthday.    While I was able to find someone who could take care of the dog for that time, I couldn’t find anybody to watch my pet ants or water my bread mold beyond Monday.  I’ll be back home Monday evening only to head to Washington that Friday.  OPEC is starting to love me.

Tracing my Roots

Like many people, I have interest in my ancestry.  I learned a lot from my mother’s side.  Her mother was born in Romania.  Her family ran a small farm in Baia Mare, near the borders with Ukraine and Hungary.  My grandmother used to tell stories of escaping Romania through Hungary before claiming asylum in Austria.  She worked in Vienna doing various jobs before saving money to come to the United States in 1949.

My father’s side of the family is a little more difficult to learn.  He doesn’t like to talk about his past.  I have never met his parents.  It turns out his father was a high school basketball coach near Hagerstown, MD during the 1970s.  He disappeared in 1975 and nobody has found any clue of his whereabouts to this day.  My father’s mother was killed in an automobile accident in 1981.

I did find some information about Heare.  There was a large family in Hampshire County, West Virginia.  There is a cemetery where many of the Heare ancestors are buried.   I am not sure if I am related to them, but I will go there soon and find out.  i am thinking of going on a week from Monday, after I bring my daughter back to her mother’s.

Second in Both West Virginia Primaries

It will not be easy, bit I think I can finish second in both primaries tomorrow.  I can finish second in the Democratic Primary because they just don’t like Barack Obama for some reason.  Hillary Clinton will win big (unless her supporters decide not to show up, that would be my only chance to win.)

The Republicans have John McCain expecting to win big.  If his margin of victory is large enough, I could sneak past Ron Paul, Mike Huckabee, and Albert Howard and take second.

My hardest obstacle is overcoming the misinterpretation of my blog yesterday.  It is about family values and nothing more.

West Virginia – Mountin’ Mama

I will be campaigning in West Virginia tomorrow and possibly Tuesday.   If possible, I will find a place to give a speech on “family values.”  I don’t know how much of an impact I will have there, but one never knows until one tries.
